Thematic index
Initial work concentrated on English sources, which are now largely indexed, but the Society would be grateful for help in searching and indexing continental sources, both printed and in manuscript. Please contact Dr Andrew Ashbee aa0060962@blueyonder.co.uk if you are able to help in any way.

Currently available:

The Index is listed by composer, with a substantial anonymous section. The first six instalments were published as paper copy while the seventh is on CD-ROM only. However, the whole index (currently around 1100 pages) is now available on CD-ROM (pdf format) and the original instalments will be discontinued. The pages are scans of the originals and are not electronically searchable. The CD-ROMs will be produced in small batches, up-dated each time as necessary. The first batch was published in March 2004. All revised and new pages will be posted on the web-site (also in batches) allowing purchasers to keep their copies up-to-date.
